Contoh 1 :

Gunung Tujuh Lake is one of the many lakes in Kabupaten Kerinci in Jambi province. It is an amazing tourist place to visit. The location of Gunung Tujuh Lake is in Kecamatan Kayu Aro. It is about 50 km from Sungai Penuh to Pelompek village by public transport. Then people climb and walk for another 4 km or for 2.5 hours. The lake is surrounded by steep forest slopes and seven mountains. The highest peak of Gunung Tujuh Lake is 1,950 m above sea level. The length of the lake is 4,5 km and the width is 3 km. It is a volcanic lake and the highest in Southeast Asia. The temperature around the lake is very cold. Besides waterfalls you can also find animals such as siamang. elephants and birds. Gunung Tujuh Lake is really beautiful with a spectacular scenery.

My Pet

         I have a pet. It is a dog and I call it Brownie.

         Brownie is a Chinese breed. It is fluffy, and cute. It has got thick brown fur. When I cuddle it, the fur feels soft. Brownie does not like bones. Everyday it eats soft food like steamed rice, fish or bread. Every morning I give her milk and bread. When I am at school, brownie plays with my cat. They get along well, and never fight maybe because brownie does not bark a lot. It treats the other animals in our house gently, and it never eats shoes. Brownie is really a sweet and friendly animal.

Contoh 3 :

Magelang is an interesting tourist resort with many attractive old buildings. It is located in Central Java about forty five kilometers north of Jogyakarta. It takes about an hour by bus from Jogyakarta.

Pucang, Secang a sub-district in Magelang, is one of the popular places for horn carving handicraft. It is said that most of the people are skilled in this art. More than thirty five families actually make their living by carving horns of buffaloes or cows.

They normally produce one thousand carvings a day. However, this is not a record for a single day. They once received an order for one hundred and forty two thousand combs to be completed within one month. Any kind of horn carving handicraft is displayed at the workshop, where tourists often come to buy souvenirs.

Lombok is noticeably different to its close neighbor, Bali. The northern part of the island is mountainous and lush with tall trees and shrubs. Soft white sand, virgin beaches are typical in Lombok, where the motto is 'You can see Bali in Lombok, but not Lombok in Bali'. Famous for its 'tenun ikat' hand-woven textiles, the island has exceptional charm and its relatively undiscovered, except for Senggigi City, which becoming a major resort area.

Borobudur, a gigantic Buddhist shrine is situated 42 kilometers northwest of Yogyakarta and the Ijen crater lies in East Java and displays hot springs, waterfalls and free roaming deer as well as a sulphur crater. A three-hour drive from Surabaya, and the a pony ride from the village of Ngadisari over the sea will take you to mount Bromo which is an active volcano with sulphur fumes and smoke still emitting from its depths. The inhabitants of the surrounding areas believe in the God of Bromo and bring offerings to his deity.

Bali is different from the rest of Indonesia because of its unique form of Hinduism called "Hindu Dharma." Religion is at the main source of traditional custom in family and community life. The soul of a Balinese if religion and it finds its expression in art. Many articles and books have been written on Bali.

Songkran Festival

The Thai New Year is celebrated with the water festival all over the country. However, Songkran in Chiang Mai is considered the most festive. Foreign and domestic tourists head to Chiang Mai for this weeklong, mid-April festival, during which everyone is free to sprinkle or spray people with water. Be prepared to get wet!

Loi (Loy) Krathong and Yee Peng Festival

Of all the festivals held throughout the year, Loi Krathon is the most anticipated. For three nights during the full moon in the 12th month of the Thai calendar (usually November), the rivers and lakes of Chiang Mai are decorated with floating flowers and candles. When the flowers and candles are set afloat on the water, they are often accompanied by perfume or money. The sky is also lit up by the light from flying paper lanterns. People cast off their candles and paper lanterns with praise and hope, believing that by doing so they will avoid bad luck. It is also an expression of gratitude to the ruler of water and heaven.

She has beautiful blue eyes, an oval face and pointed nose. “The Sweety Firsty” is a cheerful, confident, and determined girl. However, she is a little bit careless and stubborn. She has many cats in her house. There are about nine cats. She loves them all. One of her favourite is a little orange cat. She calls her ‘Shinny’. Firsty loves to dance and sing. Nevertheless, she wants to be a model.

Ronald’s nickname is Ron. Most of girls in our school love and adore him. There’s no doubt about his good looking. We call him “The Charming Ron”. His height is 176 cm. Ron has straight hair and perfect face. He is an intelligent and introvert person. Above all, he is humble. He was crowned as The Best Student this year. He won so many prizes on Math, Chemistry and Physic competition. However, his favourite subject is Chemistry. He wants to be a chemist someday.

Jonathan is a funny person. He can always find a way to make the people around him laugh. I wonder what it is in his head for he can create jokes spontaneously. Jonathan’s nick name is Jo. He is plump. He’s about 168 cm tall. His weight is 80 kg. That’s why we call him “The Big Jo”. He has a round face with brown eyes. His spiky hairstyle makes him easily recognized. Jo is a humorous, friendly and an easy going person. He is a movie freak. He would never miss any new movie in the cinema. He dreams of becoming a famous actor one day.
