Curried Rice

Ingredients:
l      1 cup uncooked rice        l       2 tbsp butter
l      1 tsp curry powder           l       ½ cup raisins
l      ½ chopped onion             l       2 cups water
How to make it:
l      Find a large saucepan or frying pan which has a lid, place on a medium heat, add butter, and then add chopped onion. Cook the onion for a couple of minutes until it starts to brown slightly.
l      Add curry powder stir with onions for
a minute.
l      Add raisins, rice and water.
l      Put on lid and simmer until water is absorbed (about 15 minutes).

You will need:
2 cups of rolled oats
1½ cups of caster sugar
4 tablespoons of golden syrup
2 tablespoons of boiling water
1 cup of plain flour
250 grams of butter
1 teaspoon of baking soda
What to do:
a.    Turn oven 160°C.
b.    Lightly grease oven tray.
c.    Mix oats, flour and sugar in a large bowl.
d.    Melt butter and golden syrup in a pan.
